Collaborate with the Active Living Manager & Executive Director to plan, organise, and implement meaningful programmes for residents.• Run safe and effective exercise programs tailored to the residents\' abilities, ensuring their physical well-being and engagement.• Assist in maintaining department records, including assessments and evaluations of planned programmes, detailing individual participation.• Foster effective communication and build strong relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and staff across departments, keeping all informed of current and upcoming events.• Attend in-service education to stay updated on current trends in elderly care and enhance professional development.• Participate in team meetings to plan programmes tailored to the interests and needs of residents.• Facilitate scheduled and pre-arranged outings for residents, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.• Assist in assessing individual resident activity levels and provide personalised care to support engagement.• Prepare, carry out, and evaluate daily activities, ensuring they align with residents\' preferences and needs.• Provide assistance with meal services as required, promoting a comfortable dining experience.• Work in a position of trust with vulnerable adults, maintaining a high standard of ethical care.• Uphold and promote the organisation’s values, philosophy, and ethics related to integrity and compassion.• Complete other duties as assigned to support the overall well-being of residents.
