As a Consultant with the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), I am currently leading the landscape planning and design of 8 District Parks across South and East Delhi. This role requires a strategic integration of landscape architecture with urban design principles to create inclusive, ecologically sensitive, and people-centric public spaces.Key Responsibilities:Conceptualized and designed multifunctional green spaces tailored to diverse user groups, promoting ecological balance and recreational use.Collaborated with horticulture experts, civil engineers, and DDA planners to align the landscape vision with urban infrastructure goals.Conducted site analyses and community-focused studies to inform design decisions based on context, culture, and climatic factors.Prepared working drawings, planting schemes, and bill of quantities (BOQs) for tendering and implementation stages.Spearheaded the promotional strategy and design exhibition for public awareness and stakeholder engagement related to the District Parks initiative.Integrated sustainable urban design strategies such as water-sensitive design, native planting, and low-maintenance landscapes to ensure long-term viability.
