As a Cockpit Crew Scheduler, I play a critical role in ensuring seamless flight operations by managing the end-to-end scheduling of flight crew in alignment with regulatory, operational, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: • Efficiently plan and roster cockpit crew (pilots) while ensuring compliance with DGCA regulations and Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL). • Coordinate daily operations to manage last-minute changes, disruptions, and crew shortages—especially during irregular operations or diversions. • Monitor leave, training, and recurrent schedules to ensure resource availability. • Maintain accuracy in crew records, documentation, and duty logs. • Support contingency planning during weather disruptions, airspace closures, or emergencies. Skills & Tools: • Strong understanding of aviation crew regulations and FDTL norms • Crisis management and real-time decision-making • Excellent communication and coordination skills • Tools: Crew management systems, MS Excel, aviation rostering platforms - ARMS & CAE.
