I am a Software Engineer at Amazon, where I leverage my machine learning and data skills to improve the customer engagement feature of an existing ML model. I use SQL, R, and Python to extract, wrangle, and analyze data from large datasets, generate automated feature selection solutions using Facebook\'s Ax-platform, and execute performance tests to reduce latency. I have also contributed to the development of a time spent metric in the ML model, which helps measure the effectiveness of the feature. I have a MS in Data Science from Indiana University Bloomington, where I gained valuable experience as a Graduate Research Assistant and a Data Science Intern at MiBolsillo. I worked on various projects involving healthcare and financial data, such as creating a policy dataset to compare the medical shutdown, reopen, and stay at home dates for all the 50 states, developing an algorithm to generate behavioral insights for Banco PAN\'s test users, and building a Tableau dashboard to visualize the credit card spending trends of different user groups. I also applied k-means clustering to segment the users based on their financial health and identify the factors that influence it.
