I’m a software engineer with 10+ years of experience building and scaling large-scale, data-intensive backend systems across finance, healthcare, and cloud platforms.Currently at Arcesium, I own the re-architecture of aggregation-heavy, CQRS-based backend systems that power Transactions and Positions datasets — among the most heavily queried data assets on the platform. My work focuses on enabling low-latency, SLO-driven access to data at billion-record scale, improving platform reliability while supporting diverse client access patterns.Earlier, I spent ~6 years at Amazon, working across multiple teams and geographies (US & India). I helped build greenfield systems on AWS, migrated legacy services onto AWS, and worked on large-scale platforms spanning Digital Healthcare (Amazon Care) and Global Transportation Systems. My experience spans highly regulated domains (PHI/EHR systems), peak-scale operations, and distributed systems built entirely on AWS.I enjoy working on problems that sit at the intersection of scale, correctness, and long-term system design. I care deeply about clear architecture, principled trade-offs, and mentoring engineers to think beyond local optimizations. I also strongly value clear documentation of designs and trade-offs, and I invest time in writing technical deep dives that help teams align, reason about decisions, and scale knowledge beyond immediate contributors.
