About Ayumi Michelle Funaki
As a Product Manager at Amazon, I leverage my MBA degree as well as my former startup experience to deliver innovative solutions for the JP Books industry. I am passionate about learning new things and am currently working part-time towards a Masters in Computer Science at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. I look forward to challenging myself by taking on more technical aspects/products as a Product Manager going forward. Prior to joining Amazon, I was a Product Manager at Nile, managing both the customer experience and features for the mobile app and healthcare web portal for patients and neurologists respectively. Prior to Anderson, I was part of the New Business Development Team at IDEC headquarters, a global leader in AUTO-ID Solutions. As part of my responsibilities, I concurrently managed the Marketing Department and Sales Promotion Department of two IDEC subsidiaries where I gained valuable experience in market research, customer analysis, and product strategy.
