Having been in Learning Design since 2009, I worked with many different learners, SMEs, and stakeholders, designing and developing countless curricula and learning experiences. Today, I sit at the intersection of learning science, artificial intelligence, and product development, building meaningful, competency-based, and AI-enabled hands-on learning experiences for learners from all walks of life.I work hard to advocate for learning science by translating rigorous pedagogical frameworks—such as Evidence-Centered Design (ECD), the Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), and Cognitive Load Theory—into actionable architectural schemas that power product design at Udemy. I believe that learning products firmly grounded in cognitive science yield the best results for our learners. As a Senior Learning Designer, my job is to guide cross-functional stakeholders including Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering teams, aligning technical AI capabilities with human-centric learning outcomes. My work spans across different product and content development projects, where I collaborate with many stakeholders to help build the best learning products that improve lives.I am heavily invested in scaling learning using AI, as I see it as an unprecedented opportunity to do what we could not do before.
