About Aysen Gungel Colak

In the vast landscape of engineering, AI, and art, I find myself constantly learning, evolving, and seeking intersections where these worlds can beautifully collide. My initial steps were taken in BS.Environmental Engineering and in MS.Fuel and Energy Technologies studies that broadened my understanding of the world’s resources, and introduced me to sustainable engineering solutions. I was fortunate to study my second master\'s at NYU in Global Affairs, where I delved into energy, environmental policy, economics, and finance. This experience gave me a multi-faceted lens, helping me appreciate the interplay of policy, economy, and technological innovations as well as to work with large datasets. After encountering various data challenges over time, I decided to self-learn coding and started Springboard\'s Data Science Bootcamp while I was an analyst at Google. This rigorous boot camp not only honed my skills in data science and machine learning but also kindled an interest in deep learning. The hands-on projects I tackled were instrumental in shaping my proficiency in Python, machine learning models and building a foundation in AI. My foray into AI brought me to prompt engineering, a niche I\'ve been exploring before and during my work at Scale AI. The field has taught me a lot about the untapped potential of AI and how it can be used to better understand and address complex problems in business. Moreover, I found an artistic outlet in AI. It\'s a space where I quietly experiment, trying to merge AI and creativity. During this journey, I had the opportunity to test many state-of-the-art AI tools and observe how design software companies race to roll out AI-enabled features. I recently started my own company to make my designs available to a broader audience through e-commerce soon. With the skills I\'ve gained, I hope to make a positive impact in industries that can benefit from a novel, sustainable perspective.
