About Ayse Meric Ovacik
Currently, I am a Distinguished Scientist and Director at Development Sciences, Genentech. My expertise is applying pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamics principles in guiding selection and development of clinical candidates with a focus on prediction of human pharmacokinetics and target clinical efficacious dose from non-clinical data including modeling and simulation support. I am therapeutic area leader for immune engagers and molecular oncology programs. I oversee the PKPD strategy for the therapeutic area and work closely with Research, Safety Assessment, Clinical Pharmacology and other relevant functions from target identification, validation and early development. I am also cross-functional pharmacology-sub team leader for an immune engager program. My expertise include cancer immunotherapy, fusion proteins and bispecific large molecules. I grew up in Turkey. In addition, I am an AFS returnee; AFS\'99 Denmark. I am fluent in Turkish and English, have intermediate experience with Danish and German.
