My apprenticeship focuses on analyzing databases from the Flight and Integration Test department (Pole 1V) to identify key levers and actionable measures to reduce the carbon footprint of ground and flight test operations. Fuel On Board Optimization • Developed a neural network using PyTorch to quantify the impact of Fuel On Board on fuel consumption • Added interpretability layers to the neural network architecture • Simulated CO₂ reduction scenarios with estimated fuel savings🧭 Flight Trajectory Optimization • Clustered flight test trajectories • Collaborated with Air Traffic Control to optimize flight paths and reduce fuel consumption and costs Climb Speed Optimization with LSTM • Trained an LSTM model to optimize climb speed (CAS) during flight tests • Verified compliance with Airbus technical constraints to ensure operational feasibility Big Data Pipeline for Carbon Tax Compliance • Built a Spark-based pipeline to identify flights subject to carbon tax • Integrated and cleaned multi-source data for regulatory analysis
