ABOUT AYON BORTHAKUR
Thanks for your interest in learning a bit more about me. Very briefly -I am an AI researcher and engineer with a PhD from Cornell University, and I am currently a faculty member at the Mehta Family School of Data Science and AI at IIT Guwahati. I am primarily focused on making AI efficient and overall sustainable. I do have a strong interest in bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical deployment of deep learning. Accordingly, I enjoy mentoring students and collaborating on topics relating (but not limited to) efficient deep learning, software–hardware codesign, and sensors.
