ABOUT AYMAN FAHMY

Ayman Fahmy is a licensed professional engineer with unique district energy experience since He has been actively involved in the design, construction and commissioning of various district energy projects in North America and the Middle East (District Heating, District Cooling, Combined Heat and Power and Power Generation). Ayman holds a Master in Engineering Leadership (MEL) from the University of British Columbia. and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo Ayman was responsible for the detailed design and construction support of the steam to hot water conversion of the University of British Columbia district energy system including the complete hot water distribution network, the temporary steam to hot water plant and one third of the campus wide energy transfer stations. He’s actively involved in multiple district energy systems in Lower Mainland namely: the City of Surrey DES, City of Vancouver NEU, City of Richmond Alexandra DEU, SFU, UBC NEU, and others. He has also completed the hydrualic analysis for multiple systems including all the ones mentioned above.Ayman was actively involved in the value engineering, design and construction of many district cooling/co-generation plants for a major district cooling provider in the Middle East.
