ABOUT AYLIN TIZER
As Committee Member of Istanbul Arbitration Days & Legal Leaders Awards, I took part in the planning and execution of high-quality events that promote awareness and engagement on global arbitral issues. I managed the logistics, budget, marketing, and stakeholder relations of multiple events, such as panel discussions, workshops, and networking sessions, featuring prominent speakers from academia, policy, and practice. We also collaborated with other arbitral groups, events, external partners and sponsors to create impactful and inclusive events that reflect the diverse perspectives and interests of our members and audience. I am a final year BSc International Relations (with Spanish) student at LSE, passionate about policy making, diplomacy, peace, and international law. I have gained valuable insights and skills from various academic and professional experiences, such as the Chatham House Summer School, the Practera Student Consultant Program, and the InvestIN Young Lawyer Program. I have also developed my legal research and document preparation skills through a work experience at Forsters LLP. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Turkish, and proficient in French, which enables me to communicate effectively across different cultures and contexts. I am planning to pursue a Law conversion course after my undergraduate degree, and I am open to any internships or work experience opportunities in the legal sector (particularly in international arbitration).
