I come from a family of immigrants. My parents came to the U.S. from Moscow and I grew up watching people build everything from scratch, no connections, no safety net, just figuring it out.I spent 15 years designing across every medium I could get my hands on, and eventually realized the thing I care about most isn’t the work itself, it’s the people doing it. How they grow. What holds them back. Why so many talented people feel invisible.I facilitate, it’s what I’m best at. Whether it’s running co-design sessions, leading usability tests, or sitting in a room with someone and helping them get to the thing they actually need to say. I’ve done over 100 user interviews for Swurl alone, and the skill is always the same: making space for people to be honest, then turning that into something real.Swurl is a professional community where contribution matters more than clout, and where the people you meet actually care about helping you move forward.
