I currently work as an Information Management Officer at the United Nations, where I lead a team of specialists running the UN Peace and Security Data Hub: https://psdata.un.org/ In my current role, I provide expert advice on information management, organize UN information assets, and engage in research. I also transform complex data into accessible information products, such as reports, charts, and infographics, that support decision-making and communication. I have co-authored several publications and reports on Sudan, Lebanon, and data for peace and security.

My role involves advancing information and data management initiatives for DPPA and DPO, providing expert advice on information management, and organizing UN information assets. I engage in research, analysis, and evaluation of new IT applications for data management, recommending their deployment. I also contribute to policy development, including issue analysis and evaluation preparation. Additionally, I am responsible for transforming complex data into accessible information products like reports, charts, and infographics. Under my lead, the Peace and Security Data-Hub has seen significant growth - doubling users and data under our management - increasingly making it the data source of choice on and about the UNs Peace and Security Pillar.
