On the technical side, I enhanced my abilities in data analysis, feature engineering, programming, spatialanalysis, machine learning, and project management. At the same time, I strengthened softskills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, adaptability, and effectivecommunication, all of which were essential for addressing the diverse challenges that aroseduring this research project.Working with big and heterogeneous datasets necessitated the employment of integrated processes (fetching, processing, transforming, parsing, merging, etc.)Perhaps the most important and lasting impact of this internship has been my growinginterest in research, particularly in the environmental domain.
