At SoundHound AI, operating as the technical accounting authority for a publicly traded AI company — directing the close, owning complex GAAP judgments, building audit-ready frameworks from scratch, and managing the external audit relationship across all significant areas.What’s unusual: a finance background deep enough to own the hard accounting questions, combined with enough operational fluency to work directly inside engineering and infrastructure organizations — and translate between the two without losing rigor on either side.What I care about beyond the work: I think a lot about what it means to build AI systems responsibly — not just efficiently.
