About Aydin Mallery

Passionate about fostering inclusive environments, creating art, and empowering emerging BIPOC voices, I am committed to combining my artistic background with organizational development and leadership. As a graduate of Pitzer College with a Bachelor of Arts, I have mentored over 500+ students as a Writing Center Fellow, offering guidance on multidisciplinary academic projects and endeavors. My dedication to amplifying underrepresented voices led me to conduct an IRB-approved research project, decoding academic writings and experiences from the BIPOC community to foster a more inclusive writing pedagogy.Driven by the belief that representation matters, I founded Artists of Color Together, an organization providing a supportive, anti-racist space for budding BIPOC students. In my role as president, I spearheaded outreach efforts, collaborated across departments, and engaged industry professionals to host workshops on BIPOC industry access and design skills. Equipped with strong team management skills, cultural competency training, and workshop facilitation, I am also proficient in Excel, Word, and Logic Pro (advanced digital audio editing). My commitment to fostering inclusive spaces and promoting underrepresented voices drives my passion for creating positive change within art, organizations, and institutions. I am passionate about refining my skills across disciplines whether it be promoting cultural competency within the arts, providing one-on-one consultations to further your writing skills, or music directing your next creative project.
