Civil Engineering Technologist by trade, AScT certified and based in Vancouver, Canada, with about a decade of experience leading infrastructure and architectural projects across municipal, industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. Engineering & Design With over 300 projects completed across Canada, I specialize in civil design for roads, utilities, grading, drainage, and structural systems. My work spans all phases — from preliminary design to permit-ready and tender documentation — supporting rezoning, development, and construction across complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Automation & Innovation I’m passionate about streamlining engineering workflows. As an advanced user of Civil 3D, Revit, Dynamo, Python, and.NET8 C#, I build custom automation tools that eliminate repetitive tasks and enhance accuracy. My automation solutions have been adopted nationally by major firms, and have powered efficiency in both infrastructure and façade design processes. Entrepreneurship & Leadership Alongside senior roles at WSP and AllNorth, I founded AYDrafting, a consultancy focused on design, civil engineering & automation. Selected Achievements • Created Civil 3D automations adopted nationwide at WSP, saving hundreds of hours per project. • Led infrastructure design for Vancouver’s Broadway Subway Project (Urban Systems) and the ONxpress GoRail Project in Toronto (WSP/Hatch). • Completed a contracting project for a Seniors Home in Burnaby, delivering the full scope of exterior civil works. Responsibilities included utility connections, site grading, backyard development, and landscaping of the surrounding grounds. • Automated façade engineering workflows for iconic cultural projects.
