Hi! My name is Afrin, a dedicated MSW student at Fordham University and passionate mental health advocate committed to empowering individuals to achieve personal growth and resilience. I am completing my social work internship at The Academy Charter School, where I support students’ social-emotional development through counseling, group facilitation, and mental health programming. Alongside my graduate studies, I serve as a Vocational Specialist at CN Guidance and Counseling Services, where I help clients build confidence, develop career skills, and reach meaningful employment goals. Rooted in empathy and guided by a deep commitment to social justice, my work centers on helping individuals navigate challenges, build self-efficacy, and discover their full potential.
