About Ayana Barber
I am a Producer/Filmmaker/Director. My projects range from branded content for large brands—Uber, Bud Light, Twitter— to television shows—Desus & Mero, Hulu\'s Horace and Pete (feat. Steve Buscemi, Alan Alda, and Jessica Lange). In 2019, I produced a short documentary called Ballet After Dark which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and can be streamed on HULU and BETher. I also served as Supervising Producer for She Did That, a feature length documentary about Black female entrepreneurship that premiered at the Essence Festival in 2018 and can be found on Netflix. Recently I directed the scripted short Go Crazy with Crazy which was an official selection screening in 2020 at the Big Apple Film Festival, and Wicked Queer-Boston’s LGBT Film Festival.
