About Ayan Barua
I draw inspiration from rudimentary concepts and convert them into useful and realistic ideas. Depending on the context, I like to democratize design through participatory user research and collaborative thinking. Skeptically examining systems and getting to the heart of the problem is my forte. With an ability to thrive within constraints, I strive to make the most of what already exists, before moving onto more radical iterations. Currently, I am working towards developing a multi-stakeholder digital platform for an early-stage start-up. Having built the platform from scratch, it has been through multiple design validations-cum-iterations and is now on the verge of deployment. The product aims to create a sustainable culture in water management through a tech-enabled water governance tool.
