The Birmingham Poetry Network is a city-wide initiative established to strengthen the poetry ecosystem through community, safeguarding, and infrastructure. The network brings poets, organisers, and institutions together to share resources, prevent clashes, and create new opportunities. Our pilots include an anti-clash diary, a Birmingham poetry map, and quarterly collaboration forums- all designed to build a sustainable and supportive environment for poets across the region. Poetry as Infastructure, not an afterthought.
