Hi there! I am Aya. I am an energy engineer, enthusiastic, innovative with an entrepreneurial background. I am passionate about contributing to a sustainable, energy-efficient, greener future in the e-mobility sector. I enjoy challenges and learning about new scientific topics. During my MSc, I became involved in studying Fuel Cells. I improved my programming skills for the purpose of mathematical modeling and simulation of them. I created 2D performance models for 2 different study-case models (ATC, differential cell), developed and conducted parametric studies to investigate the limitations of the modeling toolkit. I love research and learning new skills. For over a year, I have been enriching my knowledge in data analytics by attending online classes. I am enthusiastic about how data analysis, AI, and machine learning can contribute to designing and monitoring energy management systems and how they can be used to predict the slightest changes within the systems. I find it exciting to analyze and visualize data and communicate its meaningful insights. With a background in project management, I have 1.5 years of experience working with innovators and entrepreneurs through pre-ideation pre-incubation phases. During which I worked with the government, corporates, and the EU. I am a dedicated and structured person with an analytical mindset. I enjoy improving processes and finding alternative solutions. I am eager for challenges on both personal and professional levels. I appreciate diversity and intercultural experiences, I studied and worked closely with classmates from +14 different countries, in addition to diverse teams in professional settings (Fraunhofer ISE & Innogy). I believe diversity increases creativity, productivity and allows one to develop personally and professionally.
