About Ayaan Haider Mahimwala
When working with code, I love running into roadblocks. Let me explain. To me, running into a roadblock implies I have a gap somewhere in my current knowledge that is causing me to face an issue. I take roadblocks as opportunities to delve deeper into a subject or to build upon my existing knowledge. In fact, running into a roadblock during the summer before high school while following a YouTube tutorial on how to code a calculator in Java was how I first got introduced to my passion for software development. I have followed this passion in my coursework as an Electrical and Computer Engineering student at UT Austin and in work experiences such software engineering internships at Amazon and Paycom. My current goal is to continue following this passion and exploring the vast world of software development by searching for full time software engineering roles.
