Hi there! I’m Aya, and I’m passionate about improving the quality, safety, and experience of healthcare for both patients and professionals. MSc in Quality and Safety in Healthcare – University of Leicester (UK)I recently completed my Master’s degree in Quality and Safety in Healthcare from the University of Leicester. I’m incredibly proud to have received a Letter of Commendation for achieving the highest overall credit-weighted course mark and the top mark in the Dissertation module among my cohort. NHS Experience – Patient Safety, Quality & AuditI’ve worked within two NHS Trusts in roles focused on patient safety, clinical audit, and quality improvement. My work has included leading audits, analysing incidents, developing improvement plans, and supporting frontline teams to implement safer, more effective care processes. Previous Experience – Egypt (2019–2023)Prior to moving to the UK, I held a Senior role in Egypt where I worked closely with the CEO on patient experience, policy development, and process improvement. I collaborated with clinical and non-clinical teams to build a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
