ABOUT AYA ELGOOL

I am a hardworking and bright individual who has a passion for understanding political theory and international governance. I\'m passionate about social mobility as a result of the benefits it has provided me as a first-generation university student; as a result, I have decided to give back to the local community through working with organisations such as Zero Gravity to mentor students from low-income backgrounds.Through being a former Member of UK Youth Parliament for the London Borough of Camden, I have had the opportunity to sit on Scrutiny Boards, Steering Groups, as well as engage with local politicians such as the leader of the Labour party, and current Prime Minister, Keir Starmer. Having taken up this opportunity to best represent the youth of my borough, I hope to work closely with organisations to begin tackling issues surrounding youth safety and violence, as these issues are prevalent within my community, so if anyone has any connections to organisations based around those things, feel free to reach out!I’m currently pursuing a Politics and International Relations degree at UCL, and I am open to working in a range of industries.Within my spare time, I enjoy numerous hobbies such as sports and the performing arts which I’ve engaged in through being a part of Camden Youth Theatre; I’m currently looking to begin content creation, in the hopes of gaining a wider audience to spoken word and fashion.If anyone has any opportunities which they think may be of interest to me, feel free to connect and reach out!
