Axel Müller is currently a 3GPP RAN4 standardization delegate and Standardization Team Leader at Nokia.Previously he was a 5G NR Architecture and Specification Engineer at Nokia, with his main responsibilities being to lead and contribute to MIMO system features in 5G NR Rel. 15.Initially, Dr. Müller obtained his Ph.D. degree from Centrale-Supélec (Gif-sûr-Yvette, France) in 2014, following a thesis in the Alcatel-Lucent chair on the topic of \"Random Matrix Theory Framework for the Analysis of Future Heterogeneous Multicell MU-MIMO Networks\". His thesis advisor was Prof. Mérouane Debbah and his co-advisor was Prof. Romain Couillet. During this time he received one best student paper award in the 2014 Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing Workshop (SAM).
