RES is the largest independent renewable energy company in the world- Pointy end of the spear in the renewable energy transition- Leading the development of the 150MWac Nova Solar project in Alberta. Represented the project at an Alberta Utilities Commission regulatory hearing March 2023- Leading the development of a utility-scale wind project in Quebec- Project management & due diligence support to the 400MW Forty Mile Wind project and asset sale, and the Nova Solar project asset sale- Identifying and pursuing power-marketing opportunities, including bilateral negotiations, tender participation, and joint-venture partnerships- Conducting market research, lead tracking, bid preparation, and presentations to potential clients and partners, with a focus on commercial alignment and risk management- Developing RES Canada’s wind and solar project portfolio across Canada, including supporting land acquisition, environmental study and permitting, interconnection applications, project due diligence, as well as preliminary technical and financial screening of projects- Sitting on Sustainability Task Force and chairing Safety Committee- Won two PACE awards (Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, Excellence) in first three years at the company
