Currently serving as a Special Assistant/Public Health Analyst to the leadership team within the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention\'s National Center for State, Tribal, Local, and Territorial Public Health Infrastructure and Workforce (PHIC).I previously worked as a 2018 Public Health Associate in San Juan, Puerto Rico with the CDC. During my time in the program, I worked in a diverse team alongside Puerto Rico Department of Health staff, supporting their strategic goals for accreditation, capacity building of essential public health services, management of their crisis cooperative agreements and hurricane supplemental funding, as well as quality improvement initiatives.As a former Health Educator and HIV Test Counselor, I maintain a passion for community outreach and education. Both personally and professionally, I try to live by the motto,\"Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.\"
