Ensuring that financial systems provide accurate and timely financial information to support internal and external information requirements, including funding and audit processes, and curriculum planning.• Actively partaking in the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts, and being responsible for the effective reconciliation of balance sheet accounts• Setting and agreeing budgets in line with the College’s financial aims for different areas of the college.• Providing support and guidance to budget holders through regular meetings to review financialperformance and forecasting.• Supporting with internal and external audits, ensuring that the required audit deliverables are produced in a timely manner.• Completing and submitting Colleges VAT returns.• Responsible for the functional area of Trading, Cash and Credit Control ensuring all income due to the College is received and accurately recorded in the finance system.• Safeguarding the wellbeing of students.
