I am an internationally trained lawyer from Pakistan with over a decade of specialized experience in contract lifecycle management, corporate and commercial law, privacy compliance, technology and AI regulatory frameworks, intellectual property, and strategic litigation. My professional journey spans multiple jurisdictions, including Canada, the UAE, Pakistan, and the U.S, managing complex cross-border commercial agreements collectively valued at over CAD $1 billion.I hold a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Toronto, where I earned the Osgoode Professional Development Award of Merit, and possess the NCA Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.My early career as a Senior Associate at Jillani & Co, Lahore, included advising corporate clients like Siemens and Kuwait NREC, negotiating multimillion-dollar agreements, conducting detailed due diligence, and aligning liability caps and indemnities. Subsequently, as Senior Manager with ARY Communications Ltd, Karachi, Pakistan’s largest media conglomerate, I managed drafting and negotiation of over 200 corporate, procurement, employment, and real-estate contracts, significantly streamlining approval processes and minimizing compliance risks.At Luna PR, Dubai, I advised high-profile fintech, blockchain, and AI startup clients, including FIFA, Bitcoin Latinum, Atari, and De.Fi, managing full contract lifecycles involving SAFEs, MSAs, and token agreements across U.S, Canadian, and UAE legal regimes. Currently based in Toronto, as a Legal Expert at Outlier AI, I optimize AI-driven contract review tools, standardize datasets, and ensure regulatory compliance under PIPEDA, GDPR, and evolving global AI governance frameworks for leading companies such as OpenAI and Meta AI.
