Requirement gathering / analysis, QA effort estimation, test strategy document creation, test plan creation, work distribution, monitoring and reporting to the stakeholder throughout the STLC.• Monitor and facilitate Order Processing and Trade Processing for foreign transaction, publish the FX rate bulletin in SIT and UAT environment daily. Providing estimations for the overall QA effort, ensuring to accommodate the use of Agile and hybrid project delivery methodology.• Support QA team / performance team with JCL creation, DB2 queries, test data manipulation in input file through FileAid and mainframe utility tools creation to facilitate testing of the mainframe legacy system.• Responsible for all the lead activities such as status reporting, facilitating defect triage and follow up with developer/BA for closure. Facilitating test case review, test execution results review and test closure review meeting with business.• Providing KT to the new team member on Mainframe application such as navigation through TSO/ISPF, how to debug the issue in case of JCL failure, how to query the data through Spufi and how to use different short utilities based on the requirement during testing. Also, providing KT on different tools such as SQL Developer, Microsoft SQL server, DB Visualizer, PuTTy and Parasoft.• Prepare reusable functions / test scripts for web-based application testing which improve the robustness, re-usability, and maintainability of test scripts.• Identify service automation candidates (SOAP/REST service) and develop the tools/utility to automate the same for functional and/or regression testing Automation bed creation for regression of the REST/SOAP services using ParaSoft.• Identify regression candidates and develop / enhance baseline automation test bed for future release.
