ABOUT AWAB ELSHEIKH

I am an Assistant Manager at Deloitte, one of the Big Four accounting firms, and a candidate for the ACA qualification from ICAEW. I have a master’s degree in Management from the University of St Andrews, where I received a Gold Award Certificate for the Career Development Masters Extra Programme, and a scholarship for academic excellence. I also have a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Khartoum. My core competencies include attention to detail, analytical skills, and ethical standards.As an Assistant Manager, I provide audit operational support on engagements with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards. I exercise and document the approach to professional scepticism, including robust challenge, consideration of alternatives, and disconfirming evidence. I also work with diverse teams and clients, contributing to the delivery, reporting, and evaluation of the audit results. I am motivated by the opportunity to learn from different perspectives and experiences, and to support the public interest and the trust in the profession. I am passionate about enhancing my knowledge and skills in the field of auditing, and applying them to complex and challenging situations.
