Earlier, as Executive Director of the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS, he oversaw international development and communications for 400 communities across the former Soviet Union. He also played a central role in rebuilding the Chabad House in Mumbai, India after the 2008 terror attack.A member of the World Economic Forum’s Civil Society community, Avraham works alongside NGOs, governments, and business leaders to address global challenges. He also serves on the board of the Inspirasia Foundation, supporting health, education, and job-skills programs in Asia.A lifelong student of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, Avraham is guided by values of peace, justice, health, and faith.Born in Southfield, Michigan, he lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife, Leah, and their five children. He is fluent in English, Hebrew, and Yiddish, and conversant in Spanish and Russian.
