ABOUT AVRAHAM KNOBEL
As a licensed clinical social worker at Premium Health Center, I provide counseling and psychotherapy to families and children in an educational clinic setting. I have over four years of experience in this role, working with diverse populations and addressing various mental health issues, such as trauma, depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I also have a special interest and training in adolescent and geriatric mental health, helping my clients cope with life transitions, relationship challenges, and identity development.Prior to becoming a social worker, I was a Jewish educator for over 25 years, obtaining rabbinic ordination from Yeshiva Gedolah of the Five Towns. I have initiated and run social-emotional groups and mentoring programs in Hasidic institutions, using my fluency in Yiddish and Hebrew and my knowledge of Jewish culture and values. I am passionate about supporting the well-being and growth of individuals and communities, and I strive to offer culturally competent and compassionate services to my clients.
