I have spent 15+ years in personal finance and business journalism doing one thing consistently well: making money, markets, and investing easy to understand and worth paying attention to.Most recently, I was the on-camera face of ET Money’s video content, where I built and led the 5 Minute Finance YouTube channel from scratch —conceptualising, scripting, and anchoring sharp explainers that helped hundreds of thousands of investors make better financial decisions. I also anchored content for ET Money Hindi and created high-impact Instagram Reels, helping shape ET Money’s video identity across platforms.Along the way, I’ve hosted podcasts and interviews with some of India’s most respected investment voices, including Rajeev Thakkar and Kalpen Parekh, translating their insights into clear, practical takeaways for everyday investors.Before ET Money, I’ve worked across some of India’s most respected business newsrooms like LiveMint, Business Today, Fortune India, Value Research, and The Economic Times, covering personal finance, markets, policy, and data. At Fortune India, I led the Personal Finance section, including editorial responsibility for the flagship January “Where to Invest” issue. At Business Today and Mint, I specialised in data-led stories that connected macro trends to real-life money decisions.I’ve also had the opportunity to take finance beyond the newsroom… anchoring and curating ET Wealth Investor Workshops across multiple cities, interacting directly with investors and industry leaders, and learning first-hand what people actually struggle with when it comes to money.What defines my work is a mix of editorial judgment, data confidence, and camera comfort. I enjoy working with numbers (Excel is my happy place), experimenting with new formats, and finding smarter ways to explain complex ideas whether that’s through video, podcasts, or deeply reported stories.I’m drawn to new challenges, blank slates, and formats that don’t yet exist. If there’s an opportunity to build, experiment, and make finance more accessible and trustworthy, I’m usually interested.
