ABOUT AVIVA BALSHINE

Hi thanks for checking out my profile, I am a 4th year student at McGill University, in the Desautels Faculty of Management, currently pursuing a double concentration in Marketing and Finance with an expected graduation in May 2024. I am a hardworking and enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for learning. I have open-minded adaptability, display confidence with ambiguity and I am a collaborative and resourceful problem solver!I am motivated by supporting other Women in Business and I am currently the VP Logistics for Desautels Women In Business. In this role I help plan and execute events that include keynote speakers, panellists and workshops that focus on empowering women and exposing them to career opportunities. Being part of this community allows me to learn from my peers, elevate confidence and establish key leadership skills that I will implement in my career. I have experience working in the CPG space, and thoroughly enjoy working face-to-face with consumers, identifying trends to create successful marketing and sales initiatives. I am driven by using my strong problem-solving skills to develop strategies and find unique ways to solve issues. In my previous roles, I have supported countless growth initiatives wherein I have worked cross functionally to engage in ideation and achieve goals. I am currently looking for a job to embark on my fulltime professional career post-grad. I am looking for marketing roles in an industry that supports my continuous learning and that I can apply my collaboration, critical thinking, financial acuity and open mindedness to help companies achieve their goals. I am eager to continue developing key skills that will help me both in my professional and personal life.
