Led a team of 10 practitioners in designing a data mesh foundation product for a large financial company, aimed at decentralizing data ownership and sharing data across multiple business units without the need for any ETL pipeline. This project, conducted entirely using Google Cloud, involved treating data from various business units as assets and transforming them into sharable products. Responsibilities included designing the foundation mesh structure, preparing wireframes, and delivering the product.Directed a team of 7 practitioners to create an EL(T) pipeline for a Fortune-5 healthcare company in the US, enabling CMS Interoperability and Patient Access final rule implementation. This project facilitated the consumption of data from different care providers and sharing healthcare data with other providers, helping the client achieve compliance and saving $1 billion in operational revenue loss.Designed and implemented a cloud-based framework for a healthcare company in the US to expose healthcare data among downstream application users and non-technical users without the need for a data engineer as an intermediary. This solution provided easy and round-the-clock access to required data with necessary PII masking based on user roles and access agreements. It enabled the client to monetize warehoused data, opening a new revenue stream while maintaining high data security and compliance standards.
