Avi heads global talent for Nexus Venture Partners, where he works closely with founders across the firm’s diverse portfolio in the US and India, advising on talent strategy and organization building.Before joining Nexus, Avi led the group talent function at PayU (Naspers), a leading global fintech company. Earlier, he was the Global Head of Talent at OYO, where he partnered closely with the founder and leadership team to scale teams across multiple geographies and business lines. Prior to OYO, Avi headed leadership hiring for APAC at Genpact.He began his career in executive search with Executive Access, a leading Asian boutique, where he spent over a decade in market-making and delivery roles across consumer and technology sectors.Avi holds a bachelor’s degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and an MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
