Hello, I am Aviral Aggarwal. I am a Chartered Accountant and a CFA Level 2 candidate. I identify myself as a resilient, courageous, enthusiastic, and happy-go-lucky person. Currently, I am working as an Investment Banking Associate with KPMG India. My role involves building financial models, Information Memorandum and Investment Teasers as part of live mergers and acquisitions or fund raising transactions. I have previously worked with Nangia Andersen and Grant Thornton Bharat as an Investment Banking Associate. Prior to that, I interned with SmartSync Services, a SEBI registered investment advisory firm. My role involved researching allocated industries, writing reports, and presenting them to the team. Over the years, I developed a certain strong curiosity towards finance and that has led me to sign up for CFA and learn more about the intricacies of various fields related to equity research, financial analysis, and valuations. For me, it is about gaining and sharing knowledge. I chose to do Chartered Accountancy in my Class 10th itself when I learned the respect this profession commanded and the significant role it played towards the economy of our country through my father. I topped my city in the Chartered Accountancy entrance examination, cleared its intermediate level, and stood first in my city too. Upon clearing the intermediate stage, I pursued my internship from BDO, one of the Big five accounting firms in the assurance division, and gained comprehensive knowledge into working of various industries and businesses.
