ABOUT AVIRAJ NEWATIA
Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Cambridge under Dr. Rika Antonova in the Cambridge Resilient Autonomous Learning (CamRAL) Lab. Research focuses include physics-informed learning, neural and residual simulation, and robotics. Additionally, collaborating with Professor Rahul Krishnan at the Vector Institute to enhance privacy guarantees and mitigate risks in machine unlearning methods, particularly in data-restrictive domains. Earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Toronto, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Systems. Previous research experience includes developing optimization algorithms for quantum machine learning circuits in computational chemistry at the Middleware Systems Research Group. Proficient in scholarly research, CUDA, and optimization, with a strong interest in advancing machine learning methods and their applications.
