I am currently working as a Formwork Incharge at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel (AMNS) Hazira, where I oversee all aspects of formwork operations across various industrial construction sites within the plant. My role involves planning, executing, and managing the complete lifecycle of shuttering and staging works for structural concrete elements including foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and heavy-duty industrial supports.With a hands-on approach and strong coordination skills, I lead formwork teams and collaborate closely with civil, mechanical, and safety departments to ensure timely execution, safety compliance, and material efficiency. I am responsible for:Daily allocation of manpower and materials as per site requirements.Monitoring and controlling productivity and cost, ensuring formwork activities are within budget.Handling hire and own material tracking, release planning, and reconciliation.Managing cuplock, H-frame, Tubes and Coupler, Slipform Shuttering, Conventional shuttering systems and Steel Frame Plastic Modular Shuttering, as well as dealing with scaffold planning for both access and casting support.Coordinating with planning, execution, and billing teams for work measurement, documentation, and approvals.Ensuring all formwork activities comply with project timelines, safety standards (OSHA/IS codes), and quality requirements.I also play a key role in problem-solving on-site challenges, whether related to structural alignment, casting sequences, or scaffolding safety issues. My practical field knowledge combined with a proactive mindset helps maintain smooth execution and contribute to overall project progress.
