I have vast experience of about 54 years in Design, Testing & Manufacture of various types of oil filled Distribution, Power, Rectifier, Furnace & other special transformers up to 400 kV class, 400 kV Shunt reactors of gap type, magnetically shielded type up to 132 kV class & Non-Magnetically shielded type up to 33 kV class have been designed by me.I have also designed & manufactured Dry type Transformers such as vacuum pressure impregnated (VPI) and Cast resin Transformers. I have worked in various capacities in Testing, Quality Assurance, Marketing etc in addition to Design in Crompton Greaves from 1963 to 1998. I am currently a consultant for the Design of Transformer for Home & International Market of EMCO Limited INDIA from up till date.I have published several technical papers in national & International conferences and seminars I have read a paper on Reliability of Trackside Transformers in Railway International Seminar RE-85 on 25th anniversary of Railway Electrification at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi I was trained in Transformer design in prestigious companies like Hawker Siddley, Brush Transformers UK, Westinghouse Electric Corporation South Boston, Virginia, Pittsburgh & Canada, ABB Sheshron Switzerland etcI have holding a patent of Railway Traction transformer in Foil winding.I have designed & manufactured 630 kVA,11/0.433 kV High Temperature Superconducting Transformer (HTS) cooled by Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), as a joint venture between CPRI Banglore (Ministry of Power) & EMCO Ltd,Thane, under there research prospective Ministry of Power (Govt. of India ).

   Heading Design department at International Division of EMCO Limited.1.Looking after International Division as Head of the Engineering Department in addition to domestic market.2.Member of Technology Group of EMCO venturing various aspect like electromagnetics, electrostatics,Noise control,thermal designs,seismic aspects etc.3.Started TLIC (Teaching Learning Implementation Center) upgarding the core compentancy of EMCO.4. Manufactured a online monitor for Transformers.5. Conducted various technical presentation for International & domestic customer.6.I have designed & manufactured 630 kVA,11/0.433 kV High Temperature Superconducting Transformer (HTS) cooled by Liquid Nitrogen (LN2), as a joint venture between CPRI Banglore (Ministry of Power) & EMCO Ltd,Thane, under there research prospective Ministry of Power (Govt. of India ).7.
