Avinash has worked for a few years as a software developer and then pursued an MBA specialising in finance. Post his MBA, he has worked as a business analyst in fintech domain. He is a quick study and an enthusiastic learner. He has experience in collaborating with multiple teams to ensure smooth and timely project delivery. Within the Software Development cycle, he has worked on the documenting the business and technical requirements alongside User Acceptance and Regression Testing. He is proficient with business analysis tools and softwares like Confluence, JIRA, Python, Power BI, SQL and Sharepoint.He also has a good understanding of the risk management domain and is currently preparing for CFA and FRM certifications.Avinash has PGDM degree (specialising in finance) from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon (2021-23 batch). He is a gold medallist in the finance and has knowledge of different aspects of management including, but not limited to, statistics, research methodologies, financial modelling, personal finance planning, accounting, etc.Avinash previously worked in Virtusa (2016-21) where he was exposed to the domain of trade finance while developing software for a client Citi. His primary role was that of a software developer and he is proficient in C, SQL and shell scripting. His interests were aligned towards trade finance products and transactions generally used by firms to trade goods and services globally. Apart from the technical aspects of software development, he also focused on the functional aspects of the job including business analysis and project management.He also took online courses in finance to enhance his on-job knowledge.
