His innovative engineering designs are widely used in refining, petrochemical, chemical, water treatment, energy, and offshore industries worldwide. Mr. Karre specializes in grassroots process design, debottlenecking studies, FEL1 to detail desgin phases of projects, water treatment and utilities, feasibility studies, industrial catalysis, and preparing P & IDs.Mr. Karre\'s expertise spans various aspects of chemical engineering design, including:• Developing material and heat balances using process simulation software like PRO-II, Promax, and Aspen HYSYS.• Creating process flow diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation diagrams (P & IDs).• Designing utility drawings and conducting hydraulics and network hydraulic analyses using AFT Fathom and AFT Arrow.• Sizing relief valves (PSPPM and Salus tools), control valves (Fisher Specification Manager tool), and equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, columns, vessels, and trays (Sulcol and Koch-Glitsch\'s hydraulic softwares).• Expertise across a range of energy and refinery process units such as FCC, Hydrotreater, tank farms, aromatic recovery, reformer feed preparation, reformer, Light Crude Fractionation, hydrocracker, saturated gas plant, jet treater, sour water stripper, Sulphur and Tail Gas Plants, Crude and Vacuum Distillation, Fischer-Tropsch plants, and others (ion exchange, clarifiers, demineralized water, softeners, anthracite filters, boiler feed water, brine system, offshore wlell heads, gas-glycol dehydration plant, offshore processing plant, steam and boiler).Authored two books - • A.V.
