About Avik Soni

An industrial designer by education, with formal training from design institutions across USA, India, and Spain. After completing my bachelor\'s degree from IED Barcelona in 2020, I chose to pursue design-led entrepreneurship over traditional design roles. I Founded Collab Therapy, a creative maker-space in Delhi helping young designers turn their ideas into a reality by providing them seamless access to a pool of resources to design, develop, prototype, test, fabricate & seed their ideas. Building this network of resources further led me to launching Shunya Wellness, a wellness brand focused on designing high-integrity spiritual products for modern living. Shunya was born from a clear gap in the market: most spiritual tools lacked design quality, cultural relevance, or authenticity. With a design-first approach, we now create Meditation, Ritual & Self-Care Enablers that combine tradition with thoughtful craftsmanship. Collab Therapy is India\'s first Collaborative Co-design Space & Resource Ecosystem to help you build all things tangible and make your ideas come to life. For a creative individual / team that is familiar with basic production techniques and already know how to make the first prototype; the Indian manufacturing setup makes it impossible for them to find a one-point resource ecosystem to prototype that idea. The industry is highly unorganized constituting majorly of uneducated labour and fabrication houses that only cater to large manufacturing orders. We aim to bridge this gap by creating a seamless direct link between the ideator and all their idea execution needs. With a range of product development resources hosted under one roof to assist in design, development, prototyping, testing and fabrication, our Co-design Space acts as your own design studio enabling you to take your ideas from sketch to prototype and further.
