As a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems India, I have enhanced complex network simulation tools like TRex, ensuring compatibility across platforms and scaling protocol stacks to support extensive configurations. My work includes developing traffic streams for both static and DHCP clients, upgrading database structures, integrating advanced protocol features with C/C++, enabling IS-IS protocol stack on AWS-based devices, and automating testing processes with Python. My contributions have consistently focused on improving performance, reliability, and user capabilities in network simulation.Beyond my professional experience, I have a solid academic background with a Master’s degree in Computer Science from IIT Guwahati and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Kalyani, where I graduated as the batch topper. In my research, I have published my work in the where I developed an efficient and secure QoE-aware content caching strategy at MEC servers using Federated Reinforcement Learning. This work addresses various factors of CDN like content popularity, network condition, backhaul congestion, access delay and video adaptation for the delivery of content.I have led several impactful projects across various domains. In the realm of machine learning, I developed a tool to detect fake news on Twitter using GCN models and built a movie recommendation system leveraging advanced machine learning algorithms. In the field of networking, I implemented a multistage DNS resolver system to ensure accurate domain name query resolution. My operating system project involved creating a Unix-like file handling system in C++. Additionally, I designed a voice-controlled chess game in C++ using mathematical and statistical learning models for speech processing.My technical proficiency spans a variety of programming languages, tools, and frameworks. I am skilled in C, C++, Python, HTML, JavaScript, and TypeScript. I have experience with TensorFlow, FastAPI, Flask, Django, NodeJS, and AngularJS. I am well-versed in database management with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and ElasticSearch.
