Senior Software Engineer for migrating legacy code into Java platform. as part of Application Modernization, Also working as an Opcon Administrator (workload automation) in creating batch schedules replicating the same as was running in the legacy system.• Worked as a senior software engineer in automating the legacy workflow scheduling system for the client into an easy-to-use workload automation and orchestration software platform that eliminated manual tasks. • Develop automation tools based out of Java coding to parse Text using Regex and generate report relevant to the requirement.• Worked as a workstream lead in migrating legacy application to cloud based platform with a team of 4-5 developers and testers.• Testing of the legacy code in JAVA to see if its working fine and similar to how it was working in Legacy.• Work on JIRA tickets for code and defect analysis on migrated code not working correctly in Java.• Documenting the workflow and steps needed to run the legacy utilities in JCL with all the different varieties of jobs.• Extract code from SVN/Git hub, making updates and committing the same to the source repository.• Familiar with Devops tools- CI/CD - Jenkins for Continuous Integration, Maven- Automatic build, Junit for testing and Selenium for Web online testing.
