As a seasoned Senior IT Professional with over 20 years of experience in the not-for-profit sector, I bring a wealth of expertise in providing strategic leadership for Information Management Solutions. My journey spans various organizations, with the last five years dedicated to shaping the digital future of Breakthrough T1D Canada (formerly JDRF Canada) as the Executive Director, Information Technology. My core strengths lie in critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and robust program management. Throughout my career, I\'ve successfully navigated complex multi-stakeholder environments, aligning business objectives with operational priorities. My strategic planning skills have been instrumental in driving innovation and leading significant modernization projects, ensuring they align with organizational priorities. In my current role at Breakthrough T1D Canada, I serve as the Executive Director, IT, reporting to the CFO. I lead a dynamic team, focusing on developing and delivering an information technology strategy, roadmap, and portfolio aligned with organization\'s strategic priorities. My responsibilities encompass everything from strategic planning and program development to cybersecurity and vendor management. Prior to Breakthrough T1D Canada, I held key positions at organizations such as Plan International Canada, Alzheimer Society of Ontario, World Animal Protection, CAMH Foundation, Trillium Health Centre Foundation, CNIB, and Appleby College. These roles involved managing enterprise applications, overseeing IT solutions, and implementing data governance practices. Education-wise, I hold a Project Management Certificate from the University of Toronto and completed the Information Technologies Support Services-Coop program at Sheridan College. As a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) since 2011, I continually seek to enhance my skills and stay abreast of industry trends. My technical proficiency includes expertise in Blackbaud CRM applications, Microsoft SQL, Windows Systems, Microsoft Office 365, Crystal Reports, and more. I am passionate about leveraging technology to drive positive change and foster digital innovation within organizations.
